Test Report

12 Electric shavers 05/2017

It should be easy to hold, have a long-lasting battery and trim both short and long beard hairs ? thoroughly and gently. In the test, twelve electric shavers from five manufacturers competed against each other, including the top dogs Braun and Philips. Seven devices have vibrating shaving blades, five rotating shaving heads. There are recommendable models for every budget (prices: around 70 to 340 euros). Some shavers have problems with three-day beards. Two broke down in the test.
