Air purifiers are supposed to remove pollen, fine dust, cigarette smoke and chemical compounds from the air we breathe in our homes. Stiftung Warentest tested seven air purifiers at the beginning of 2020 (prices from 249 to 425 euros) - from Philips, Rowenta, Dyson, Beurer and Soehnle, among others. At the end of 2020, we subjected the three best to a 'Corona retest' and clarified: Can they also filter viruses from the air?
