Heating pumps transport hot water to the radiators. If you still have an old model in the basement, you should replace it with a modern one: The energy savings are enormous and the purchase costs are recouped after just a few years. Stiftung Warentest tested a total of 14 circulation pumps, including models from Wilo, Grundfos and Biral. Pleasingly, even the cheapest circulator pump did well in the heating pump test (prices: 100 to 690 euros).
