Espresso and Co. in just 13 seconds - Indulgence at the touch of a button - 7 coffee portioning machines in test -
Coffee has been the most popular drink in the Federal Republic of Germany for many years: in 2020, we consumed 168 litres of this black gold per capita - a considerable increase of more than 2 litres compared to the previous year. If you want to enjoy espresso, cappuccino and co. in your household, you can do so with all kinds of different machines: While filter machines are still popular, they can only ever produce the wake-up drink in one and the same pure black style. More variable in use is a stylish espresso machine of Italian tradition, which real connoisseuses and connoisseurs will always prefer. However, producing espresso of masterly quality with such a machine is inconceivable without a sufficient degree of expertise. Enjoyment can be achieved more quickly and simply with a modern fully automatic machine, but many people cannot easily afford to buy one. However, for people who want to enjoy a variety of specialities, including milk and milk foam, at the touch of a button, a portioning machine is an interesting option: after all, such a machine can serve not only espresso, but also an extraordinary number of other varieties within moments. This time, we had 6 current capsule machines in our test and reveal in the following which of these models can be used to produce specialities in appealing quality time and again, which model is easy to use right from the start and much more (€min - €max: €61.60 - €229.44). Next, we will also introduce the CSA210/60 from Philips: This is, after all, a model that does not need to be fitted with capsules but with pads.
