Answers are provided by electricity meters that can be connected between the socket and the electrical appliance, determine consumption and expose electricity guzzlers. The Stiftung Warentest electricity meter test shows that quality does not have to cost a lot. Models costing as little as 9 euros deliver good measurement results. But not all of them can be relied on.
