Yoga is one of the most popular sports in Germany, and gymnastics is also popular. Indispensable for both: a comfortable mat. Stiftung Warentest tested eight yoga mats and eight gymnastics mats. We wanted to know how tear-resistant and stable they are, whether they cushion well, release absorbed sweat and do not slip. We were pleased to find that good mats can be had for as little as 30 euros. Only two of the gymnastics mats were convincing.
