Comparison test of 6 body analysis scales

People are getting heavier in all parts of the world, whether in America, Europe or elsewhere: in Germany alone, 53.5% of all adult consumers are already heavier than they should be.1 The coronavirus pandemic of 2019 - 2023 in particular caused many people's weight to skyrocket2 - and only some of them have lost this extra weight again. If you are inspired by the New Year, for example, and are planning to lose weight, you need to have one thing in the house above all else: A scale! But which model should it be? After all, in addition to the unpretentious models that can only measure weight, there are also "smart" body analysis models available. In addition to weight, they also allow you to measure completely different health-related features, such as the percentage of muscle, water, etc., calculate basic consumption and much more. This time we looked at 12 different scales, which can be categorised into 2 groups: The models in the 1st group can only determine the weight of consumers, while the models in the 2nd group can also be used, for example, to determine the proportion of muscles & co. In the following, we explain what the models can do, at what speed they carry out the weighing process and how precisely they can determine the weight.
