The B450 chipset is the heart of the ASUS PRIME B450M-A II motherboard and has been specially optimised for the Ryzen CPUs of the 2000 series (Pinnacle Ridge). B450 motherboards support all features of
the second-generation Ryzen processors, such as the XFR2 overclocking feature. In addition, the mainboards support up to 64 GB of RAM with a guaranteed clock speed of 2,666 megahertz. Depending on the motherboard, significantly higher clock speeds are possible via overclocking and the B450 chipset also enables overclocking of the processor.
