Product details
Its IPS panel provides extremely precise color control for highly realistic color reproduction and delivers a blur-free display of moving content with a 5 ms response time. This makes the monitor suitable for professional graphic applications as well. With its ultra-thin bezel, it is the perfect choice for a more productive multi-monitor setup.
For digital signal inputs, the monitor offers a DisplayPort and an HDMI connection, all HDCP compliant. This allows for the playback of copy-protected material, such as from Blu-ray players, without any issues. There is also a VGA port available for older video sources. Thanks to the integrated USB 3.0 hub, you always have a connection within easy reach for your USB sticks, hard drives, or other peripherals. The speakers are built-in, and if you want to avoid disturbing your colleagues, there is also a headphone jack available.

The Eizo FlexScan EV2490 has no weaknesses whatsoever and, as promised, serves every office scenario excellently. However, it is not cheap.

The EIZO EV2490 is the top model in the Office FlexScan series of 24-inch displays in 16:9 format. Like the other devices in the series, it offers a very high-quality finish designed for durability and industry-leading ergonomic features. The main difference to the EIZO EV2480 is connectivity...

The Eizo FlexScan EV2490 adds a little extra where the EV2485 had weaknesses: KVM, LAN port and the daisy chain function. Surprisingly, the EV2490 costs only marginally more at the start. However, some of the weaknesses remain to keep the price down. The Full HD resolution will not make everyone happy and the touch buttons remain as well...

If you are looking for a sustainably produced office monitor that is designed for durability, the EIZO EV2485 is the right choice. Those who already know the review of the EIZO EV2495 will hardly be surprised. Both devices are very similar and differ on paper mainly in connectivity...

The Eizo FlexScan EV2485 is sensitively expensive, but delivers top performance in terms of image quality, features and energy efficiency.

Eizo is not taking any risks with the EV2485, but delivers well-known quality in a compact format. By compromising on the resolution and some missing features, the screen is able to position itself on the market at a price that is hardly known from Eizo. In terms of resolution, however, this could be the screen's undoing, as many users nowadays want more than Full HD, even if the benefits are reduced...
