Cat.6 F/UTP CCA network cable supports bandwidths of up to 250 MHz and features a snagless design with gold-plated contacts for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. This Cat.6 cable operates at frequencies of up to 250 MHz in a shielded version with foil shielding (F/UTP). Cat.6 cables are widely used in professional environments and are ideal for Gigabit Ethernet or AV extension applications. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. Each cable is individually packaged in a polybag.

The high frequencies used in networking create a high current load in the outer layers of the conductors due to the skin effect, while the conductor cores are subjected to very low electrical loads. This allows for the use of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) as the conductor material, making this cable more cost-effective than pure copper cables.
