Product details
Nintendo Switch (OLED model) features a 7-inch OLED screen with a narrower bezel. The screen's intense colors and high contrast deliver an immersive gaming experience in handheld and tabletop modes, whether you're racing at breathtaking speed or outrunning opponents. Play in tabletop mode with your preferred viewing angle by flipping out the stand, handing another player a controller, and facing the screen together to play against or with each other whenever and wherever you want. Position the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) wide adjustable stand for a comfortable gaming experience in tabletop mode. The stand includes two USB ports, an HDMI port for connecting to a TV, and a LAN port for a stable internet connection in TV mode. Nintendo Switch (OLED model) has 64 GB of internal storage, allowing you to download your favorite games and play them anytime. Experience clear sound when playing in handheld or tabletop mode, or in front of the TV with a large group. Place the Nintendo Switch console in the dock and you're ready to play in HD on the TV. The stand allows for split-screen gaming, perfect for multiplayer games with friends. On the go, connect the Joy-Con controllers to the console to play alone or with friends, locally or online. Players can connect up to eight Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch (OLED model), or Nintendo Switch Lite consoles to enjoy multiplayer games together or against each other. The Nintendo Switch console has a controller on each side, both of which can also be used together as the Joy-Con. You can hold them vertically or horizontally, or pass one to a friend to play against or with each other whenever and wherever you want.

The Nintendo Switch OLED is technically slightly more powerful than its predecessor, but also costs significantly more money. However, it is the first choice for anyone who primarily uses the Switch in handheld mode. Those who only play via dock on the TV will be better off with the cheaper model.

- Bigger and better display
- Greatly improved stand
- All-round improved design
- No resolution or performance improvements
- Joy-Con drift remains a problem
The Switch (OLED) is the best version of the console. But it's a more difficult upgrade because there are no performance improvements. The OLED display is excellent and is complemented by a new stand and small improvements. Basically, current Switch owners won't buy a new Switch OLED and will stick with their Switch...

For around 350 euros, you get a lot of added value with the Switch OLED. In addition to the improved display, you benefit from some useful improvements such as the clear sound and the larger storage space. If you already own a Switch, you don't have to get a second one. After all, it's still basically the same console and not a completely new device...
The Switch OLED isn't quite the big hit - Nintendo hasn't incorporated enough innovations for that. The display is bigger and the picture is nice, the slight changes to the design and construction are nice. First and foremost, gamers who play in handheld mode will benefit from this...

Finally, the question of price and our assessment of who might find the premium model worthwhile: Depending on the dealer you choose, the OLED model currently costs between 350 and 360 euros, which is 20 to 30 euros more than the LCD model. For those who do not yet own a Switch, the small surcharge compared to the visually dusty LCD model is definitely justified, because the Switch library is undoubtedly...
