According to our evaluation scheme, the Lumix G9ll wins the comparison test. In terms of image quality, it benefits from the higher sensor resolution. However, many photographers are likely to feel more attracted to the functions of the Olympus or OM System. The new OM-1 Mark II, for example, has Live ND and Live GND functions that no other camera manufacturer offers...
- High image quality
- Built-in image stabiliser
- Moderate sound quality for videos
- Autofocus not always accurate in series
The OM-D E-M10 IV is a great camera for beginners: it is very compact and lightweight, and also scores with high photo quality, a top image stabiliser and more controls than usual in this price range - so the camera settings can be adjusted quickly. The E-M10 IV is not convincing when it comes to filming: the sound is mediocre and an external microphone does not fit.
