- Very good sound quality
- High-quality material mix
- No information on the LE audio update
With excellent sound quality, good noise cancellation and a decent battery life, the L4 is one of the best over-ears. The associated app with its numerous settings and options is a nice playground for those interested, but the LE audio switch is still just a placebo.
The IMTEST comparison test shows that although more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better, the red pencil is clearly noticeable, especially with a very affordable model like the Soundcore Space Q45. There is a lack of sound quality, but savings are also noticeable in the microphones and ANC...
- appealing design
- Very high wearing comfort
- 5-band EQ adjustable via app
- Excellent transparency mode
- the ANC is noisy at maximum setting
- Slight tonal discolouration
Overall, this was a rock-solid performance. The sound could be optimised thanks to the EQ. However, you have to live with the noisy ANC.
- great sound
- Active noise cancelling
- Individual setting options via app
- excellent workmanship
- long battery life
Philips has completely overhauled the Fidelio L4 technically, and the battery lasts an extremely long time, even with noise cancelling switched on. That's perfect when travelling. The L4 also spoils you with excellent sound when travelling and at home. So if you're looking for headphones with outstanding workmanship and excellent sound, the Fidelio L4 is the perfect travelling companion.
