The visually lossless stream compression "Display Stream Compression v1.2" with a maximum compression ratio of 1:3 is perfect for all DisplayPort signals up to 8K UHD (7680 × 4320 pixels), including 10bit / 12bit HDR at 60Hz, as well as 4K UHD (3840 × 2160 pixels) with 12bit HDR at up to 240Hz. Additionally, the cables are backward compatible with all older DP specifications.
