Hi Anonymous, I don't remember removing any sealant or Asus adhesive. I didn't find any traces of glue or sealant on the packaging either. I mean, there was no sealant. The board runs and functions perfectly and without any problems.

The measurements for the ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WIFI motherboard are as follows:

- Length: 10.79 inches (274 mm)
- Width: 2.8 inches is not accurate for the width; instead, the width is typically around 12 inches (305 mm) for an ATX motherboard.

For the area where HDMI, audio, and video ports are located, this is usually referred to as the rear I/O panel. The dimensions of this panel are not separately specified, but it is integrated into the overall motherboard dimensions. The rear I/O panel is part of the motherboard's backside and does not have distinct measurements separate from the motherboard itself.

Hello Andresuco. It probably doesn't need an update. But it doesn't matter whether you pay attention to the message regarding the bios update or not. I have updated the bios on my board after commissioning - and I recommend you do the same. Have fun with your new build! :-D

Do I have to update the BIOS here?

Helpful answer

Hi Devid, it is not absolutely necessary if there are no compatibility or stability problems. My problem was that no network driver was found (BIOS update did nothing). I had to install the driver during the Windows installation.
Maybe the problem would not have happened with a more recent Windows 11 version.
