Product details
The 870 QVO from Samsung belongs to the latest generation of QLC SSDs. The SATA SSD offers a powerful upgrade for all users who want to expand their storage many times over without compromising on performance.
The 870 QVO achieves the maximum possible transfer rate for SATA connections: namely a sequential speed of 560/530 MB/s. Compared to the previous 860 QVO model, speed and performance have been further improved. Intelligent TurboWrite technology accelerates the write speed and ensures long-term high performance with a larger variable buffer.
The 870 QVO is available with a capacity of 1.2 TB, 4 TB and 8 TB.

Among the 2.5-inch SSDs, the Samsung 870 QVO took first place with very high speed and very good programme acceleration. This also applies to the first-placed PCIe 3.0 SSD: The SK Hynix Gold P31 not only took the test victory, but also the price-performance victory. The Samsung 990 Pro did the same with the PCIe 4.0 SSDs: It also achieved the test and price-performance victory here, and among the new...
Among the 2.5-inch SSDs, Samsung won twice: the test victory went to the 870 Evo, and the price-performance victory went to the 870 QVO.

Samsung's SSD data carrier 870 QVO (2 TB) convinces due to its high data speed, favourable price and versatile application possibilities.

With the 8 TB top model, the Samsung 870 QVO offers storage capacities of a conventional hard disk with SSD speed. The data rates are impressive for a SATA model and have increased compared to the previous generation 860 QVO. The price-performance ratio is fair at around 10 cents/GB, but not cheap...
