The Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD is compact and lightweight, making it an ideal travel companion. The lens not only covers a breathtaking focal length range from wide-angle for landscape shots
to telephoto for close-ups, but with an image scale of 1:3.8 it also makes light macro photography possible to bring out the little things in life. The lens has a newly developed piezo ultrasonic motor to ensure quiet, precise and extremely fast autofocus. In addition, the unique Vibration Compensation ( VC) image stabilization has been revised to improve efficiency and achieve the exceptional compactness of the lens. With a Megazoom lens, a very large area can be covered. Megazooms offer a focal length range from wide-angle to telephoto, making them the lens of choice in most situations. Due to their high flexibility, compact size and light weight, these lenses are particularly suitable for daily use as an all-round lens, for holiday trips, for activities with little luggage or for families with children and cones. The PZD ultrasonic motor enables a noticeably faster and quiet autofocus - ideal for capturing spontaneous moments in razor-sharp images.
