The UVC-G4-Dome UniFi Video Camera from Ubiquiti allows you to flawlessly monitor your front door, office space and garden. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
It features a compact vandal-resistant and weatherproof housing. With integrated IR LEDs, the camera provides crystal clear images day and night.
See what's going on in the camera's surveillance area day and night: the model is equipped with a day/night function that uses an IR cut filter. While the filter filters out disturbing infrared light from the recording during the day when there is sufficient brightness, it switches off automatically when darkness sets in and remains inactive during the night. This makes infrared light visible on the video recording, allowing you to see things that would otherwise be hidden in the dark. Visibility is further enhanced by infrared LED illumination: This way, the detection area is illuminated without an intruder being able to notice it.
The network camera is powered by Power over Ethernet via the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach places or in areas where lots of wires would get in the way. If desired, you can increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
