These slim patch cables are a solution for various cabling issues. Although they visually resemble flat ribbon cables, the slim patch cables achieve category 6 specifications, making them suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T/TX applications, including Gigabit Ethernet. Remarkably, three slim patch cables have the same diameter as a single standard Cat5e patch cable. Despite their extremely thin design, the cable features twisted pairs for signal integrity. Additionally, it has a wide, flexible strain relief and a convenient length marking at both ends, supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE). A typical application for the slim patch cables is in crowded server or network cabinets and cable ducts. They are also recommended for use in telephone panels in server environments with high port densities or when connecting VoIP phones. Furthermore, the slim patch cables are ideal for transport in tight spaces, such as laptop bags, and can also be laid under carpets or laminate flooring.
