These slim patch cables are a solution for various cabling problems. Although optically similar to a ribbon cable, the slim patch cables reach the values of category 6 and are therefore suitable for 10BASE-T,
100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T/TX applications, including Gigabit Ethernet. All three slim patch cables have only the diameter of a single standard Cat5e patch cable. Despite its extremely thin design, the cable has a twisting of the individual wire pairs. It also features wide, flexible jack protection, convenient length printing on both ends and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). A typical area of application for slim patch cables are overcrowded server or network cabinets or cable ducts. Wirewin's thin cables are also recommended for telephone panels in the server area, where high port densities prevail, or when connecting VoIP telephones. In addition, the slim patch cables are ideal for transport in tight spaces such as in notebook cases. Laying under carpets or laminate is also possible.
