Plants utilise CO2 for photosynthesis and thus supply the water with vital oxygen. They prevent algae growth, remove pollutants, provide hiding places and reduce pathogens. This practical CO2 direct diffuser eliminates the need for a reactor in the aquarium, a bubble counter and a non-return valve and also saves 20 % CO2 thanks to its ingenious mode of operation. The only requirement is the use of an external filter with a suitable hose connection. The direct diffuser should be integrated into the hose as close as possible to the external filter in order to extend the distance of the CO2 in the hose as far as possible. A vertical installation position allows the bubble counter to be read as clearly as possible.
