No, you do need noise, but not for hours on end. It lasts maybe 10-15 minutes (I haven't timed it).
Detection is probably via a reed contact. Take a neodymium magnet and position it in the rear area directly behind or slightly within the radius of the transition from the left side wall to the wall at the back side at the height at which your waste water tank has its magnet. If the app recognizes the magnet, it is the tank, otherwise it is the software or a part in the base station. Of course, you are responsible for your own actions and I take no responsibility for anything you do with your robot.

I don't quite understand the problem, probably because of the gear ratio. Because the L10s can't put down its mops. And the fact that it drives past somewhere has nothing to do with the mops. Basically, however, resetting the map helps with many navigation problems

This makes it possible to recognise even small objects such as toys, socks or cables and navigate around them accurately. With the L10 Ultra, on the other hand, the infrared sensor only recognises larger objects such as pieces of furniture. Due to the lack of a camera, the robot hoover cannot be used as a travelling surveillance camera while on the move. Compared to the L10s Ultra, you also have to do without the automatic refilling of the cleaning agent. Otherwise, the two models are identical.

Hi, I've had it for a few months now and we're very satisfied with the results. There are certainly better ones out there today, but it was the best you could buy (I looked at 20 reviews). We have 2 cats and it's rare that it picks up mice that have been left on the floor. It's really good at moving around the flat, it doesn't replace a real hoover, but it does a really good job of keeping the flat clean every day. It can be programmed to be easy to use (for example, every day at 11.00am except weekends) and you can make it avoid certain places (a carpet that's too big, a cupboard, etc., etc., etc.) We're really very happy with it. It's still an average hoover :) (you launch it when you're not there, at any time directly from the app)

The mops are made of very soft synthetic fibre. So they do not chafe. The question is what happens if a small hard object gets caught in it. I have terracotta on it and haven't noticed any scratches after a year. And I have a lot of coarse dirt lying around.

Of course, it should not foam and should be suitable for robots in some other way. I use a terracotta cleaner from Lithofin, for example, which works wonderfully, I've already used 1 litre. Of course, it's up to you which product you use. But the original one is incredibly expensive and hard to get in Switzerland
