LAPP Helix charging cable Type 2 connects the electric vehicle to the charging station, charging column, or wall box – for hassle-free charging at home or on the go. The cable's connector simply plugs into the car, and the plug connects to the power source. The charging process starts and ends automatically through the onboard electronics. LAPP charging cables are suitable for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV).

The patented self-retracting cable coils up in a spiral shape after use, thanks to its memory function, allowing for quick storage without tangling. The LAPP Type 2 charging cable enables easy and fast charging of up to 11 kW at a public or private charging station or wall box.
