Question about G4 Doorbell Professional PoE Kit - 630598

In my opinion, the G4 Pro POE cannot be used directly with an existing chime. There is the G4 Pro (not POE) which is intended/more suitable for this purpose (integration with a conventional intercom system). However, what is definitely possible (I also do this) is to control various gongs using middleware (e.g. Home Assistant or similar). This also allows you to dispense with the "old" doorbell control, depending on the setup. As things stand today, Unifi Protect can only directly control one Chime itself. I assume the UP Chime also works, but I have only tested the POE Chime myself. Without 3rd party integration, it is therefore not possible to control the same Chime with 2 G4 Pro (e.g. back and front door). I don't know exactly what better software UNifi is planning. Hope this helps as an idea.
