6 non-stick pans tested

It is only natural that household equipment changes significantly over the years and decades. While fully automatic machines, food processors and air fryers, for example, are now standard in many kitchens, these appliances were extremely rare - if at all - 10-20 years ago. Conversely, many of the things that were once highly popular, such as the egg timer, now seem simply outdated because they have been replaced by other, in many respects more valuable appliances. Nevertheless, there are numerous items in every kitchen that were used in their original form decades or even centuries ago, without their use having changed fundamentally since then. Examples include pans that have been used for several thousand years to cook completely different dishes of vegetables, meat, fish and other foods. We wanted to find out what special features these seemingly simple yet indispensable cooking utensils have to offer today: That's why we tested 21 different pans in an extensive test.
