override, remote enable/disable/power cycling and more for easy power management of PoE-connected devices. Non-disruptive PoE: Keep PoE power on even when the switch upgrades firmware or performs a software reboot. Simplified VLAN and QoS setup.Power over Ethernet lets you power compatible devices over the network cable. Especially for end devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, this reduces cabling complexity while giving you flexibility in end device placement.The IEEE 802.3at standard provides a maximum of 25.4 watts of power on each PoE+ port at up to 50 volts. The standard assumes that 21.90 watts of usable power may remain or be consumed after line losses in order not to exceed the maximum power output. For PoE+, a Cat5e/6 cable with a maximum length of 100m is recommended.
