The lens consists of 9 lenses in 9 groups. An aspherical element allows for a compact design without sacrificing quality, effectively exploiting the advantages of the Micro-FourThirds standard.
The O. I. S. image stabilizer, which effectively suppresses camera shake blur when taking pictures by hand or under low light conditions, is particularly valuable in the macro range. Focusing by means of internal focusing guarantees a uniformly high image quality over all distances from infinity to 10.5cm (1:1). A fast signal transmission rate of up to 240B/second generates the fastest reactions with current high-speed AF cameras such as the LUMIX GM5. At the same time, the focus of the photo and video is smooth and quiet. With its light intensity of F2.8 and 60mm focal length (KB), it is also suitable as a light telephoto and portrait lens. The LUMIX G MACRO 30mm/2.8 ASPH. /O. I. S. is equipped with a solid metal bajonet and the multi-layer coating of the lens elements ensures high-contrast image reproduction without reflections or ghost images.
