Can I re-register a used Cricut maker?

The previous owner must remove the device from his Designspace account. Then it is possible for the new owner to register the device on his new (!) account. The Designspace account is personal and should not be passed on, as both private information and your own designs are linked to it.

The blade depth cannot be adjusted, there are two different blade tools with fixed cutting depths.

Control is exclusively from the in-house proprietary software called "Design Space", other software cannot be used. However, the designs to be cut can be created with any software and the finished vector graphics can be imported into design space.

The Cricut is a closed ecosystem. If you are looking for flexibility, you should switch to other plotters.

I consider an accuracy of 0.1mm to be hardly reproducible, this is a hobby device

Helpful answer

The fine-cut blade is included. I would definitely order the tool set for this. Materials such as vinyl, cardboard Infusible ink
You will also need the cutting mats and 1 or more Cricut pens/pens for specific projects
Additional blades so that you can create any projects.
For example, the folding wheel blade, an additional fine-cut blade for cardboard if you want to cut with the existing vinyl.
