Before that, it flows back into the water tank. This guarantees that the coffee grounds come into contact with optimally heated water from the start. The Melitta Single 5 is practical and user-friendly: The swivel filter allows for easy filling of ground coffee. The external water level indicator and the illuminated on/off switch make reading easy. No drips occur when interrupting the brewing process, thanks to the practical integrated drip stop function in the filter insert. Excess cable can be neatly stored in a discreet cable compartment. Cleaning the removable filter insert, glass carafe, and glass carafe lid is simple and can be done in the dishwasher. The housing can be cleaned from the outside with a soft, damp cloth.
